Six years ago, Willow Cavanaugh was a nineteen year old rich daddy's girl, who fell head over heels for the cocky up and coming football star, Nick Hamilton. After a hot and heavy summer fling she was unceremoniously dumped, and left heartbroken. Now she is no longer taking handouts from daddy, building a business for herself and the last person she needs back in her life is Nick. Too bad the building she has her eye set on for expanding her business is owned by none other than.....you guessed it!

On top of his game, Nick Hamilton is positive he can get back in Willow's good graces. He has never quite gotten over the beautiful and vivacious girl from all those years ago, and is determined to find her back under all the defensive layers she has put up. Even if it means resorting to blackmail if it gets him results. That she is not immune to him becomes clear pretty quickly.

Willow keeps her emotional distance, despite Nick's insistence he is serious in his pursuit. She is not about to give her heart once again, just to have it shattered all over. Nick will have to amp up his game to prove himself to her.

****

Definitely a fun read!! Fast-paced and sexy with very likeable characters. A fairly familiar 'love rekindled' trope, but done with enough 'zing' and heat, plus the addition of a hot football star in the lead, to make for some additional interest.

Willow is portrayed as a slightly bittered and not very approachable workaholic, who is simply trying hard to establish herself in her own right on her own terms, without having her life controlled and directed by her father or getting her heart trampled on. It takes a bit of convincing and building of trust before she is willing to let go of her shields.

Nick is the quintessential jock to whom sports was the road to success. Once there he realizes his success means little without the one person beside him who has always stayed important to him. He finds where before he would give up everything for his sport, now he would give anything to be with her.

✨Very engaging, sweet and juicy!!✨
