An absolute breath of fresh air!!!

If I had not already been a fan of Ruthie Knox' work, this book would have certainly made me one.

A love story with a trope that might not be entirely new, but with its unique and rather unconventional characters and the original way they are given context, TRULY is given a crisp freshness that is often found lacking in an often too repetitive market.

May is a people pleaser. Never one to rock the boat, she is what one would call the proverbial wallflower. Quiet, unassuming and pleasant. Until a moment in time when she sees her 'settled' life unfolding in front of her and claws her way free of everyone's expectations to finally figure out who she is and what it is she wants.

Her grudging and taciturn guide on this mission is Ben. The former chef and desillusioned dreamer decides to take on this task as a way to prove to himself he still has it in him to be 'nice'. Although quite unimpressed initially with his charge, the more time he spends with her and the more his angry fog lifts - the more appealing she becomes. 

At times sad, at times funny, a whole lotta sexy and delightful from the first chapter to the last, TRULY is a book I can honestly recommend to everyone (over eighteen!), no exceptions!!
