Emmie Rue is a girl on a missions. She is back in the Bayou and looking for Jax Declan. This girl is fun and flirty but she has a respectful career that has allowed her the option of this summer vacation with her friends. When she finds Jax, it is almost like no time has passed at all. The easy connection is there once again but she has a little trouble getting a good read on Jax in the beginning.
Jax is HOT!!! and complicated that is for sure. Guarded and controlled to a fault almost. Jax knows exactly what he wants and how he wants it. The big question is will Emmie Rue want it the way he does. Is he willing to let the how slip away in order to get the what. The more time Jax and Em spend together the more apparent it is that they want the same things. It is just a matter of getting Jax to let his guard down and let things happen.
When Jax and Em finally give in, it is explosive. There are still many secrets and issues left in the Bayou. I can't wait to see what happens next.
