Release Blitz and Reveiw - GHOST by Nicole James

Ghost has been living his life under one rule…never fall in love, never get too close, never get tied down to just one woman. Focusing solely on his club, he is able to remain unattached and free…. until a girl from his past is dropped in his lap. She was a line he swore he’d never cross. And now, in order to obtain an alliance his club needs, he’s forced to use her in ways he’d never imagined.

She needs his protection, and she’s the one woman he can’t refuse.

When Ghost finds himself unable to keep his distance from her, will he be able to push his feelings aside and use her as a pawn for the attainment of his club’s goals? Or will he put the club and their lives at risk to follow his heart?

When lies and secrets come between them, can they overcome everything to find their own piece of heaven?

5 OF 5 STARS

I love it when a story changes the dynamic between two people—when the parameters of a relationship is redefined through age or circumstance…or because of an intense chemistry that no longer can be denied.

Ghost spots a 'damsel in distress' who seem awfully familiar and it doesn't take him very long to realize why. Jessie is someone who has never been far from his mind or his heart, not since she was just a pesky little girl. Well, she's not a little girl now and before Ghost even has a chance to find out what it is that haunts her, those long suppressed feelings bubble to the surface and threaten to mess with his carefully erected boundaries. Ha! Mess with? Obliterate rather, because once the juicy forbidden fruit is tasted, there is no way in hell he can go back to canned fruit salad.

The writing by Nicole is, as always, very engaging. We are thrown right into the action, and it never really lets up. Aside from the nicely constructed intrigue, there is an interesting romantic development with a massive amount of character growth, which in my books is an absolute necessity to keep me spellbound. Telling a story is one thing, painting three dimensional characters so well that your readers have no problem making them flesh and blood is another. It's a gift Nicole James has, not just a skill, not just a talent, but a gift. I for one am grateful she share it with her readers.

This entire MC series has been fabulous, starting with the first book and each one thereafter, never letting up. Written on a level of maturity that is very appealing to me and therefore I highly recommend it!
