I was very excited to read Zeke's story and Kelly did not disappoint.
I think the Zeke was the hardest nut to crack of all the Declan boys. His best damn lay of the bayou persona was clearly a mask for him. But why was he like that, what was he hiding from? However the more we get to know the man behind the mask we see a smart caring man who has been shaped by events of the past.
Lurlene was brought to the bayou for a summer of fun, to break out of her shell a little. As she watches her friends slowly find what they truly want out of this trip. She is blown away by the mystery man who she later finds out he is Zeke. With a little bit of a push she get him to agree to spend some time with her. She slowly start to fall for him.
Will Zeke open up to Lurlene? Will he share the secrets of his past? Where will thy go from here?
This was a great ending to a series with some serious hot brothers that just needed the right woman to turn the future around and bring some love and happiness back yo the bayou for them. Can't wait to see what Kelly has in store for us next.
