Title: Sugar Daddy
Series: Sugar Bowl #1
Author: Sawyer Bennett
Publisher: Loveswept
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: May 24, 2016

“This book devastated me in the most wonderful way,” raves Meredith Wild. In Sugar Daddy, the New York Times bestselling author of the Cold Fury series proves that vengeance is sweet—but seduction is to die for.

Sela Halstead lost her innocence in a way that no sixteen-year-old should ever have to endure. She’s spent years trying to forget that night even while wondering about the identities of the monsters who brutalized her—until a telltale tattoo flashes across Sela’s TV screen. The incriminating ink belongs to Jonathon Townsend, the millionaire founder of The Sugar Bowl, a website that matches rich older men with impressionable young women. Obsessed with revenge, Sela infiltrates Townsend’s world, only to come face-to-face with a tantalizing complication: Beckett North, his charismatic business partner.

The tech mastermind behind The Sugar Bowl, Beck always gets what he wants, in business and in bed. And yet, for a man who’s done every dirty thing imaginable, there’s something about the naïve, fresh-faced Sela that sparks his hottest fantasies. Because with her, it’s not just about sex. Beck opens up to her in ways he never has with other girls. So why does he get the feeling that she’s hiding something? In a world of pleasure and power, the shocking truth could turn them against each other—or bind them forever.

Note: Sugar Daddy ends on a cliffhanger. Sela and Beck’s story continues in Sugar Rush and Sugar Free!

4 of 5 Stars

Oh my, where do I begin? I am a fan of Sawyer's writing, that is what made me pick up Sugar Daddy. Wow... did I get more than I bargained for. This is not your typical Sawyer Bennett book but damn I want and need more fast, the cliffhanger has me holding onto the ledge not ready to give up just yet.

Sela has been existing in the best way she knows how and many would say she is doing better than most who have had her experiences. Trying so hard to close down those memories from that horrific night on her sixteenth birthday. Some days are more successful than others. When the flash of a tattoo on the television brings it all rushing back to the surface at light speed. She might not survive the memories.

With the name of one of the men who took her innocence all those years ago she is blinded by revenge. Oh but she is a smart cookie and she wants into his life, she wants to find out who the other men were. It is not enough to just take down one man. Plan in place, homework done, she is going in and she plans to come out on top. She didn't however plan for Beckett North crossing her path. Will Beck cause he to deviate from the plan?

Beck is damn proud of the business that he has helped create with his best friend. Who would have ever thought they would so as well as they did. He has always stayed clear of dating or any actual involvement with the "Sugar Babies". Don't get me wrong he is far from a saint just not willing to get locked in to any agreements. But when he sees the beautiful woman across the room charge right up to JT like she was exactly what he needed and would want, he is so very intrigued. He walks right to her and introduces himself. Boy oh boy does he get more than he bargained for with Sela.

He never saw himself as that guy, but one night was not enough. He wasn't sure what would be enough but he was willing to put it out there. What will happen next? Where will they go from here?

This book is filled with secrets, deceit, unknowns with a little love on the side. I couldn't put it down and I was not ready for the ending at all. I am hooked thought and will be watching closely for the next book. I need to know what happens now. Will Sela choose love or revenge? Are all her plans stomped on now?
