Book Review - THIS IS OUR SONG by Samantha Chase

She knows him by reputation
Riley Shaughnessy knew that to stand out in his large family, he'd have to go big. Making a name for himself as a musician wasn't easy, but he followed his dreams to rock-star success. But the relentless expectations of fans is not helping the slump he's in now. So of course the person who attracts him is the woman who is not impressed by fame.

Which gives Riley Shaughnessy a lot to prove
Entertainment reporter Savannah Daly is completely unfazed by pretty-boy rock stars. She's just here to get her interview and write her story. But spending an entire month with the Shaughnessys is going to show Savannah a side of Riley she never could have guessed.

4 of 5 Stars

As this is book 4 of the Shaughnessy Brothers Series those who have read the series have watched bits and pieces of Riley's career. However I feel that is you haven't read the previous books you will be find to read Riley and Savannah's book and not feel lost. Be prepared to want to go back and read the stories of the other brothers though.

Riley is a well know rock star with a good head on his shoulders and a fierce loyalty to his family. Is is disheartening to watch him struggling to move on in this next step in his career. Everyone just wants him to succeed and do the best he can do. The family is so proud of his accomplishments. When he is forced to participate in this magazine interview while trying to finish up his album he is anything but happy about it. The last thing he was prepared for was Savannah Daly and how she made him feel.

Savannah has struggled to make her way up in the writing world as an Entertainment Reporter. But when she is given this story on Riley Shaughnessy she is not happy in the least. From all she has seen and read to date she has formed herself one very strong opinion on the guy. Feeling uneasy about putting her feelings aside and writing a top notch story has her a little beside herself. When she finds herself bumping into Riley before she is prepared. Then things just seem to spiral from there. Will she be able to be objective and write the piece everyone needs?

When feelings start to change and attraction starts to have a mind of its own, will Riley and Savannah be able to keep the line drawn between professional and intimate? What doe fate have in store for them.

This has been a fun, sweet and sexy series and I recommend to all. I can't wait to see what Samantha has in store for Owen.
