I have enjoyed the Cold Fury hockey team from the very beginning and patiently wait for each next book after reading the last. I love the way Sawyer brings the family feeling into this hockey series. They are so much more than just teammates. We have watched many a player grow into the men they are meant to be.
Roman is known on the ice as the enforcer, he plays hard and he protects his net and fellow players hard. Off the ice he has also managed to find himself a little bit of a reputation and it has not been on the good side very often. Not being close to his family as he left home for hockey at the age of 13 he has sort of danced to the beat of his own drum. Commitment was the very last thing on his mind. When he meets a quirky woman who has a style all of her own, he might be in for some trouble.
Lexi has changed pretty drastically in the past year and it has been anything but fun. Being the strong independent woman her mother raised her to be, she is working at moving on. Now that she seems to have established her place here in this new town, she needs to take the next step. Time to see if she can find the extended family she didn't know she had. The last thing she expected to get out of this adventure was a hot headed hockey player.
Can Roman prove to everyone that he can change and except the responsibilities? Will business get in the way of family and love? Will Lexi find the happy ending she was hoping for when she arrived?
And now the wait begins again, can't wait to see what will happen next in the world of Cold Fury.
