Review Blitz - TORRID LITTLE AFFAIR by Kendall Ryan

TLA Amazon

The best way to get over someone is to get under someone else. And I have the perfect candidate all picked out.

My new assistant is tempting beyond belief with her curvy body and take-no-shit attitude. All those luscious curves, and a juicy ass I’m already in love with. God, the things that I would do to that ass…

But it’s the haunted look in her eyes that speaks to me. Like she’s taken just as much shit in her past as I have—maybe more. We both deserve a little fun.

Love can’t fix everything. Mind-blowing sex and a few killer orgasms, on the other hand?

I have a feeling those might do the trick.

4 Stars

Cooper captured my heart in book 1 of the series. He is so gentle and loving. I was not happy with him at the beginning of the book as he was acting out over his lost love. But as he slowly returned the wonderful man that we had seen before. When the sweet Corinne first come to work and he could see her shy tentative nature, but also the slight interest and want behind the mask. He knew he had to do something, but what. How would he get her to open up? The more time they spent, Cooper slowly brought out his romantic side.

Corinne was super excited for the wonderful opportunity this new job was going to give her. A chance to shine as an employee but also the means to help make living a little bit easier. She never expected Cooper Kingsley at his charming best. The fact that Cooper could read her so easily would have many running for the hills. As much as it scared her it also intrigued her just as much. Could she do this? But, she knew it could never be everything as she had too many secrets and obstacles.
Can Cooper bring Corinne out of her shell? Will she trust him with her secrets and what is holding her back? Is is possible to find happiness?

The level of love and affection that Ms Ryan bring forward in this book is swoon worthy. I loved that as much as Cooper wanted more he was never forceful with Corrine, he let her come into her own and express her wants and needs. Gentle and strong when she needed him the most. His acceptance of her life and those in it was endearing. This book was a great addition to the series with a softer side.
