I understand this is the authors first book in this genre. I would say the she knocked it out of the park. When I read in 2016 the more addicted I became and I couldn't put it down. I needed to know what happened next. Listening to the audio I found it was the same great story that I enjoyed so much the first time but the I wasn't as happy with the narration as I would have liked to have been.

Lauren seemed to be running life at status quo but was she really happy? Learning to live life on her own after Scott left her. Work was her main priority. When she tries to step out of her comfort zone she never expected to enjoy herself and wonder if she hadn't been living to the fullest.

Mackenzie is a corporate master purchasing and turning companies for a living. What can he be lacking? When the beautiful woman at the bar catches his eye. The more she divulges the more he wants to give her the experiences of her life. But at what cost? He was fine with life just the way it was.

The more time Lauren spends with Mr. Millar the more she second guesses her choices and the more she is concerned that she won't be able to come out of this without another broken heart. What does Mackenzie want out of this? What is his game?

Tracie kept my interest the entire time. And can you say serious hot sex scenes... no wonder Lauren as confused and concerned with her feelings.

Tracie Podger currently lives in Kent, UK with her husband and a rather obnoxious cat called George. She’s a Padi Scuba Diving Instructor with a passion for writing. Tracie has been fortunate to have dived some of the wonderful oceans of the world where she can indulge in another hobby, underwater photography. She likes getting up close and personal with sharks.
