With more and more turns, more and more twists, we keep finding new information on the key players. Realizing the horror that Maddie had been through all those years. But this strong fighting woman just keeps amazing us. She has watched and learned over the years, finding herself in a place to make a difference. Maybe even help out in changing the direction of her own life.
Finding herself back with her one true love, but more than that, people that were friends and didn't want or expect something from her. Determined to find her place in the world, while doing everything in her power to help other women who had been through similar horror. Doing her part to help stop this horrible fate of young women.
A true second change at life, love and happiness. The past won't ever go away, but with the love of family and friends there is always hope.
Like all books Aleatha, the carefully planned out plot full of twists and turns, deceit and power will have you at the edge of your seat while reading, looking for answers, hoping for a happy ending and a sense of peace and new beginnings for those wronged.
