And the Classholes are back ladies and gentlemen. This book has a little bit of a different fell to it than book one, but this is good and help to keep each story as a story of it's own.
Ford is finally getting out from under his fathers thumb, now the Mayor and working to get the town where he wants it. But his anger issues that have plagued him for so long are anything but gone. It is getting more and more difficult to hide those parts of his life. But he is determined to be a better man than his father. When his new assistant starts, he has to work to keep his thoughts on the game and not on the beautiful woman.
Naomi is so close to finally getting some answers about her fathers death. She has worked her ass off to get in the bureau and work her way up. This case could help her avenge her father's death and take down the man who was responsible all in one fowl swoop. She wasn't prepared for Ford though. She was certain she would be able to keep the lines drawn, but that is seeming to be difficult.
Could Ford and Naomi work together for the common goal of taking down the senator? Or will her secrets be too much for Ford? Will this undercover job backfire on Naomi?
Great character chemistry and the intrigue of the story line keeps you reading to see what happens. Can't wait to see what happens next with the Classholes.
