I have loved the characters of this series as we have worked our way through but I was very excited for James's story. The hurt and pain were pouring off this man, he needs to find some happiness. But I don't want the series to be over.... I'm so torn. Are you ready for a book full of emotional angst and heartbreak?
James has done everything that he can to estrange himself from the people who mean the most to him. Lost in his grief and guilt he holds from the loss of his son. Finding a new normal with his work at the firehall and his new found family in the motorcycle club. Holding carefully to the small fibers that keep him grounded to the family he still loves. When Evie comes back to town, he is thrown for another tailspin.
Evie has had to work through her loss alone all these years. Ready to move on, she has one final step and she is back in town to make that happen. Sure she has been successful in her work but something is missing. Will being back in Blue Ridge be too much for her?
