4.5 Stars

What's not to like when you mix a hockey romance, with a single dad with daughters and best friend to lovers. Sign me up fast. These characters will warm your insides with the care and love for two sweet little girls. The growing relationship between best friends as they continue to spend more time together. There is loads of banter and fun in this story which helps keep it light.

Cooper knew that hockey was always going to be part of his future. He was not prepared for divorce and learning to look after his girls alone on his schedule. But with the help of his agent turned best friend, he seems to be doing an ok job.

Erika was all but handed her dream job on a platter at a young age but she is rocking this career. Along the way she had made some wonderful friends. Being a rock that holds everyone together seems to be her thing. She can be know for overthinking and not being quite as confident as she might come across.

One night, Cooper and Erika cross the line in their friendship. Will they be able to come back without it being uncomfortable? Or will someone have a different idea and try to push things forward? Could this be the beginning of the wonderful life they both deserve?

I have completely enjoyed this series to date and they just keep getting better.

When her nose isn't buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she's in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It's a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn't listen to her...
