Release Blitz & Review - KINGDOME COME by Aleatha Romig

Release Date: November 16

They say the price of freedom is learning that you have nothing left to lose.

There was a time when I had it all. Money. Power. Love. And in the blink of an eye, it was gone.

Along the road to my new life, I have a chance meeting with Cecilia Abernathy. Born to greatness, this American princess is out of my league. That doesn’t mean I don’t see her for the woman she is behind the headlines. In a rare glimpse I see not only her outward beauty but her inner determination. I’m moved by her in ways I don’t allow myself to ponder.

Time passes and I’m moving forward, persevering beyond my loss, and making a new name for myself. And then I’m given an assignment.

One job.
One quest.

If I succeed, my kingdom will be at hand.
If I fail, there will be no more chances.

Men like me aren’t saviors, and that isn’t my assignment. My mission is to find the daughter of one of the most powerful men in New York, in the country, and maybe the world. Find her and deliver her to her family’s rival.

Cecilia Abernathy has been kidnapped. All I have to do is exchange her current hell for another. And then I can walk away and claim my reward.

Has my taste of freedom made me willing to sell my soul for a kingdom?

Find out the answer in KINGDOM COME, a dangerous forced-proximity stand-alone romance by New York Times bestselling author Aleatha Romig.

Oh my, I am still spinning from trying to find my way out of the wonderful weaved web of secrets and lies, betrayal, suspense and love. I've been Aleatha'd and all in one book with no cliffhanger to wait for more.

Greyson has been to rock bottom, loosing all that he once knew. Rebuilding himself in a new town is not going to be easy but he is willing to put in the work to succeed. Now if he can just find the right people to help him get started. This underworld has many different avenues, there should be room for more than one kingdom.

Cecilia Abernathy is the sole heir to the Abernathy-Dellinger dynasty and she is working her ass off to be an equal in the boardroom. However naïve and mislead that might be, she is being kept from some of the not so legal workings of the company. When she finds herself kidnapped and fighting for here life her eyes are opened wide. Her strength and tenacity was unexpected for a princess in waiting. Will she survive this latest turn of events?

Learning who can be trusted is a hard task but the feeling of safety can help you see things more clearly. Will Cecilia survive the unveiling of the men behind her capture? Will her time with Greyson be more than she expected? Will Greyson get his chance at revival or will this be the final nail in the coffin?

I enjoyed the story and the characters, the delicate web of lies and betrayal, the growing and strength of Cecilia throughout the book. I did find a few places where I felt the story was dragging but I was already hooked and vesting in the final outcome.
