This book is the fourth installment of the Greene Family Series and takes us on an adventure of growing up and being the man Jed was supposed to be, learning to move past the events of the past and not let them shape your future. The fun and flirty chemistry between Jed and Molly make the book fun to read, but the seriousness of helping a little girl who has lost her rock, find a new support system. Are you ready for this friends to lovers, single dad, sisters best friend book all wrapped in one package?
After everything Jed and his family went through with his father, that he still doesn't really talk to he had decided long ago that he was going to ever do the marriage or relationship thing. He has been pretty open about that with everyone he gets close to. Happy with no strings fun. Running the bar with his brother and living through his family was just fine for him. When he find out he has a three year old girl he knew nothing about and is now her sole guardian. His life seems like it is in a tailspin. Will he pull himself together and be the man his family believes he is?
Molly is a hard worker and likes her job at Truth or Dare but knows it is only a stepping stone. She is working so hard part time to finish her degree so she can work with children. She is so close she can see the light but there is a twist and she might not graduate. In haste looking for a new child to help for her final assignment, she finds herself helping Jed's daughter Emilia. This time spend with Emilia and Jed just helps to strengthen their friendship. But will they ever be more?
Is this their time? Jed and Molly have danced around each other since high school, but their past has always held them back. Will they realize they are worthy of love? Could this little girl be the glue that brings them together?
