Wilson
I was the bad boy on and off the ice.
I loved it — owned it.
Hockey. Women. Money.
Until she came into the picture.
Now, all I want to do is be better.
I want to prove to myself I don’t have to be the guy everyone thinks I am.
She knocked down the walls I spent my whole life building.

Franny
My last name opened the doors, but proving I was worth the title of TV producer took all of my time.
He walked in with a chip on his shoulder.
I was happy to point out all his flaws.
Falling for him was inevitable.
When scandal hits, no one expected me to stand by his side.
Not even him.
But I’ve learned that you get only one love.

4 Stars

Book 7 of this series but the story is still refreshing with a feeling of home as all our favorites come alone for the ride. Are you ready for some sizzling chemistry, witty banter and some strong headed stubbornness?

Wilson has been deemed the Bad Boy on the ice by the media. Sure he puts his heart into the game and has been know to fight a time or two but does that really make him the bad boy? Growing up without a solid father figure, a mother that still uses him for what she can get from him, family isn't really his thing. So clearly relationships haven't been either. But when that niggle starts and the desire to have more hits him, he is all in and willing to be vulnerable.

Franny loves her large overpowering hockey gods family but sometimes a girl just wants to get the recognition for being awesome all on her own. That is what pushed her to take a job in a new state away from the family business. Finding a way to keep a little of family involved when her first show is about hockey bad boys. She is the strong independent type that isn't into relationships, no dating and all that jazz. A little scared when a certain hockey player begins to push her out of her comfort zone.

Once the sparks start flying and the want is clear for many to see, Wilson and Franny have some decisions to make. Even if they decide to try things out on the downlow to start. Will the fears that are hidden find their way into the mix and cause issues? Will they be a match worth lighting and a flame that will continue to burn?

Another  great installment of a super series full of family and fun with a side of hockey to keep life interesting.
