Hudson West is the enemy.

The calm, arrogant, stupidly hot owner of the rival restaurant in town never fails to push Nico Shah’s buttons. So when he and Hudson are invited to collaborate to cater the Chesapeake Days festival, he wants to say hell no. But with his mother’s upcoming transplant, he needs that money.

Nico Shah is trouble.

Hudson’s noticed the gorgeous, witty flirt and has veered far away. He’s looking for commitment while Nico’s looking for his next flavor of the night. Except now that they’re working together, neither can ignore the chemistry that’s one spark away from burning down a forest. And when they finally collide, the connection is beyond anything either has experienced.

But with Nico still terrified of the word "boyfriend" and Hudson needing someone who belongs to him, this can only end in heartbreak.

4 Stars

Are you ready for the witty and scorching second installment of the Chesapeake Days Series? When these two strong minded business men are put together to help make the town event better, sparks will fly, feelings will sneak up and the explosions is going to be worth the wait.

Nico has been running Port of Call for the past five years and has worked hard to make it the place it is today. Hard work and long hours aren't that hard when you keep your life and relationships simple. Excited for the five year celebration plans but also looking for the additional revenue to help his Mamma out where he can. Nico has kept his heart closed for far too long, after watching two of the most important people to him loose their love.

Hudson is working against all the odds, New start up resturant is his passion against the wishes of his uptight family. Leaving behind the prospect of a career in medicine for life in the hospitality business. This has caused him additional problems with his family as he was always the black sheep. Sure he has found some friends within his business but life still feels lonely at times.

When Nico and Hudson are asked to collaberate for the town festival, sparks begin to fly. What once was fast insults quickly turns to fast fun flirting. Could it be that these fellas got the wrong impressions from the start. When they see that they both might be more than what is seen at face value, their might be some room for friendship. Or will the sizzling attaction have them stepping over the line and into something more? Could their be longevity for this romantic and commitment phobe that no one seen coming?

A great emotinal addition to the series with small glimpses of past characters and some focus on those to come. Now we wait to see who finds love next.
