A fantastic start to a new series with this Debut novel by C.B. Noy. The Romance reader in me was hooked on the quick connection between the main characters. The Suspense reader was on the edge of her seat trying to determine who was behind the mayhem.

Hayden is looking for home, a safe haven to bring her beautiful baby to life. No matter she is doing it on her own after being side swiped by her cheating ex. What better place to go than the place she lived with her parents who she has lost. Hoping for a conneciton to them there. When unexplained things start to happen Hayden is thankful for the strength and support from Caleb and his family.

Caleb loves his work as the police chief of Mountain Grove. Life is good, spending time with his mom and sister. He knows he is ready for more but hasn't found it just yet. Until that night when he finds the beautiful woman in an accident. Everything changed and he can't explain his draw but he is willing to fight to the end to make things work. To keep her safe and make them his.

A wonderful group of seconday characters keep a bit of humor and fun in a story full of ups and downs. I am excited for the next book in the series.

C.B.Noy was born and raised in Northern Maryland and decided it was a great place to raise a family. She and her husband live ten minutes from the house she grew up in with the two youngest of their five kids. Rounding out the family are their two dogs and two cats. For nine years, she was a nurse in the ICU and then transitioned to home health nursing five years ago. She is an avid reader of romance and had an idea for a book one weekend. With the help of some seriously awesome and amazing friends, and the support of her family, the Mountain Grove series was born.
