This is book 3 in the Mountain Grove Series and does a fabulous job rounding us to the end. Ms Noy has given us an emoitional read that deals with some pretty difficult topics while giving us a swoony sensitive but strong alpha man.
Daisy and Kolt have spent many years behind the Brothers Best Friend, age difference barrier. They have done a pretty bang up job of keeping those feeling hidden from each other in an attempt to still having a piece of each other. This has been seen throughout the series.
Daisy is loosing her fight with the darkness as she tries to get over the guilt and fear after being shot while trying to protect her best friend and soon to be neice/nephew. She has been pushing her family and friends away for months as she is ashamed. When things get a little too scary, she calls Kolt to the rescue.
Kolt is done with sitting buy and watching this train wreck, he did as people asked but no more. He is taking charge and he is getting his girl back to herself. Claiming that woman and running to a future with her, no more hiding his feelings. Kolt takes some time from work and the grewling case of missing women to help Daisy but is too soon pulled back as some things come to light.
A great series full of face paced storylines giving us love and some suspense to keep you on your toes. Sad for the end of a series but stoked about the glimpse of the spin off next to come.

She and her husband live ten minutes from the house she grew up in with the two youngest of their five kids. Rounding out the family are their two dogs and two cats.
