Here is your next relaxing on the deck enjoying the sun kinda book. This is a slow burn, swoony, best friends sister, age-gap romance. Though I didn't really get the grumpy feeling that I was expecting it was a light hearted unexpected love story.
Justin was just fine living life as status quo in their small town. Not looking for a partner in life nor expecting to find one in the little town they have spent their whole life in. Not too many outsiders come travelling and decide to stay. Excited about the prospects of growing the family farm and fighting off the developer that wants to change farm land into a subdivision.
Devan has graduated and is looking for that first job that will start her life off. She never planned to return to her small home town and live life. But when an opportunity arrises, she has to at least check and make sure it might not be the right move. A fun incogneto adventure and she just might have found a new reason to want to go home and work.
Will Justin be able to move past the little tag along that used to follow the boys around and see the woman that Devan has become? Is it possible that this bachelor has found his new reason for living?
