Release Blitz & Review - SNOWBOUND by Freya Barker

Snowbound by Freya Barker

Had she known ‘doing the right thing’ would land her jobless, homeless, and snowed in with a moody bear of a man guarding her, Bobbie Strada might’ve thought twice.

Last thing US Marshall Dag Toland needed was to get stuck protecting a witness as tempting as this one. Especially when forced to share a small mountain cabin in the middle of a snowstorm.

5 Stars

This is a fabulous short story that in true Freya Barker fashion has you deep into the action quickly with a strong heroine who knows the danger she is in but holds a strong façade. Using her time in hiding Bobbie cooks to feed her protectors. A strong silent hero who tries very hard to keep his distance and hide his draw to Bobbie. But when push comes to shove and danger looms, Dag is in full protector mode. Close proximity and the unknown ignite the chemistry between these characters. Could there be more in story for Bobbie and Dag, or is this a one time in the moment thing? Like all short stories this one left me wanting more from these characters but I enjoyed the ride completely.
