Wapi and Lindsey's story has been brewing for a while now and everyone has been waiting for it to come to us. Making me want to devour the story but at the same time savor it just a little longer. A true book of healing for these characters, Wapi letting go of his guilt from when Lindsey was taken all those years ago and Lindey gaining her confidence after dealing with her horrible ex.

As the fast paced story evolves and Lindsey finds herself stuck right in the middle of something she has no clues about but knowing that danger is lurking for her at every corner. We see her strength and smarts as she finds ways to keep on step ahead of those trying to get to her. Wapi is beside himself and determined to find his girl and show her he can be there for and keep her safe. That he is ready to be everything she needs and wants.

Ms Barker gives us a riviting suspenseful story full of twists and turns, an emotional ride of healing and letting people in to share the pain a little, a reminder that sometimes our chosen family can be just as needed and meaningful as that of our blood. Some surpise twists and a visit from an outside group of characters.

As always I can't wait to see what this author brings us next.
