Release Blast - SOUTHERN SECRETS by Natasha Madison

Release Date: July 27

Some secrets have a way of coming back and haunting us, no matter how much we try to bury them.

Amelia
Never make the same mistake twice is my motto.
After being left in the dust of an old pickup truck, I promised that I would take care of myself
and never trust another man with a sexy smirk and cowboy boots.
Then he showed up, and he’s everywhere I turn. He's at the barn, he's at the bar, and now, he's my roommate.
He makes me want things I shouldn’t

Asher
I grew up in foster care, and on my eighteenth birthday, I was set free.
I spent years coasting from town to town.
Staying wasn’t a part of my plan and neither was love, especially with someone off limits.
This was all supposed to be temporary.
I’m just hoping my secret doesn’t destroy the only family I’ve ever known.

Buried secrets are never buried for long.

4 Stars

Are you ready for shy and distant drifter Asher to be drawn to the large overbearing family but more so the strong willed, independent, hardworking Ameila? Strong chemistry too charged to ignore and secrets, more and more secrets. Will all those secrets finally come back and crush the ones they love?

Asher has drifted into town and was quickly pulled into the large overbearing family without even realizing it happened. Not used to the love and caring a family is supposed to give, it is hard to him to take the trust and affection shown to him so quickly by these people. He grows to care for them and doesn't want to hurt anyone or feel like he deserves their kindness.

Amelia has worked her butt off to stand on her own two feet and make her one life. Working two jobs and being sure to pay for everything she has. The mistakes of her young past have closed her off to things like love and trust of a man. She struggles to keep herself at arms length with the new farm hand. But will he wiggle his way into her radar with his care and kindness for her family and his want to help?

When things start going sideways and there is a concern for safety, Asher jumps in to be where he can to help. Little does he know that he himself might be the target. Will he be able to redeem himself when his secrets come to light? Or will he find himself moving along alone once again?

I have loved the connection of characters throughout this series. The tying everyone in this big overbearing family all together. The way the characters draw you in and have you cheering them along.

When her nose isn't buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she's in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It's a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn't listen to her...
