This is a great start to a new series with lots of world building but focuses on Storm and Poppy's second chance romance. There is a boat load of emotions to sort through but the biggest one is allowing them to to come to the surface and dealing with them. A fantastic array of side characters that I can't wait to get to see more as the series continues.

Storm had one plan as he returned to his childhood town, get in bury the bastard that was his father and get the hell out. But, his brother and life had different plans for him. When he runs into Poppy, the one that got away all those years ago, many old feelings come rushing back. Then he gets a good look at her little mini me and notices one thing. His grey eyes staring back at him.

Poppy is a strong independent woman who is working her butt off to run the bar she inherited from her uncle. It is her livelihood for her and her little girl. As much as their small town gets in other peoples business they have done so much to help her and Holly out, she couldn't imagine being anywhere else. When she runs into Storm, she knows she needs to tell him about Holly, not that she didn't try all those years ago.

Watching Storm and Poppy, navigate his return, him getting to know his daughter and him find peace with the past, ready to move on to a future he can control. Lots of laughs and humor mixed in with heavy emotions keeping the reader engaged from the very beginning.

We are back in Montgavin and getting to see some old faces for Ms Madison's regular readers. But, new readers will not feel like they are missing anything. A fantastic small town vibe with a swoony MMC and a reluctant FMC.

Book three in the Cooper Town Boys Series and just might be my favorite so far. Once again Ms Black gives us characters that we can't help but fall in love with. Quinn and Charli are know to series followers as they have been present in the other books. This book is full of emotions, sass and sizzle.

Quinn has worked had to become the man he is today. Many thanks to the Miller Family and their open acceptance of him all those years ago. When is own parents were too busy with their own things the Miller's gave him a safe space. One thing has been a constant for many years and that is his feelings for his best friends older sister.

Charli is strong and determined that she can do things on her own and doesn't need someone to look after her. A successful business woman running her massage business at the salon. Family means the world to her but having three over protective brothers and a plus one with her brothers best friend can get a little much. When all of sudden she starts to see the pain in the ass best friend in a new light.
