4 Stars

There has been a build up to Maggie and Cam's story as we have seen them throughout the series. There has been some tension there for a while that the family doesn't quite understand. Will Cam be able to make Maggie understand that he is home to stay and determined to be the one she turns to when she needs someone?

As determined as Maggie is to do thing for herself, be her own person, she still struggles with the confidence that the late husband stripped away from her. Glad to be moving on to the next chapter of her life but wondering if there is more than she has settled for. As much as she is drawn to Cameron she is determined to push him away as one night me made her feel like everyone else has over the years, not important enough.

Cam was welcomed into the family as a teenager, his family life wasn't great and the sense of family at the O'Callaghan's was something to be desired. He has worked hard to become the man he is today, working hard in jobs that can't be shared with anyone, often pulling him from home. But he has finished his time and stepped away from that life a little to make him the man Maggie would want.

Ms Proby has drawn me in with the family dynamics and her wonderful characters. I am always waiting for the next in the series and she never seems to disappoint.
