For those readers who have read the other books in the Blurred Lines series, we know Trip or at least we thing we know him, but you will be pleasantly surprise that what you see is not always what you get for real. This could be read as a standalone story but I enjoyed the glimpses in the other storylines while reading.

Gia finds herself lost in the US with no work, no money and needing a way home to Italy. She arrived on a student visa to work for a dancing company, her dream come true that all came crashing down when she landed in Florida. Thankful for fast found friends, she finds a job that will help her get the money she needs to get home, and they are willling to help her keep her identity hidden. She never expected to find love while trying to find her way home.

Trip Alexander has more secrets than he has truths these days. Finding himself on the edge of illegal business means hiding feelings, playing a role when people could be watching and constantly trying to keep one step ahead of everyone else. Always looking for a threat that might not be there. This helps to explain his distance with his friends even though he cares deeply. He is doing what he can to find a way out of these business dealings but it is never easy leaving. When checking on his business in Florida, he comes across a danced that draws him in, she is so much more than meets the eye and he just can't seem to walk away.

Just when things look like they might be lining up, worry and fear jump in, causing Trip to do the unthinkable to keep her safe. Who knew that opening his heart would eventually mean breaking it as well. Will Gia survive the emotinal upheavel of her lost love?
