What a fabulous way to end out a great series. We have met both Egan and Sophia in other books and I just knew I would love their story as much as the others. Egan with his swoony caveman tendancies, strong willed Sophia were quite the match.
Like all the other Hidden Justice men, Egan has a past that he isn't so egar to share with others, but that is how he found his way to the new family of friends. Revenge for his parents sent him down a spiraling path but he found his way to the right side. A very well rounded individual, who loves cooking, is an artist, a gym owner and a very good computer guy. He knew the minute he saw Sophia he needed to get to know her, once he got to know her he knew she was the love of his life. Now to just be there for her until she sees him in the same light.
Sophia has know her share of loss and long ago decided she wouldn't give her heart over to love again. Those she loves she looses and her wounded heart isn't strong enough for that. She is a wonderful doctor who spends her days and nights mending others back to good health. Including the men and workers of Hidden Justice a few times. She enjoys Egan's friendship and acknowledges what a wonderful man he is, but can she risk her heart once again.
When Egan's past shows up knocking on their door, will he be able to keep Sophia safe? Will she see he is the one for her and let him in finally? Can Hidden Justice save the day one more time?
I'm sad to see this series come to an end but excited to see where the author will take us next.
