Release Blitz & Review - FORBIDDEN HEARTS by Corinne Michaels

Forbidden Hearts by Corinne Michaels is now live!

First rule of being a nanny? Don’t fall for the single dad, even if he is smoking hot.

But that’s exactly what happens when grumpy small-town sheriff Asher Whitlock reluctantly hires me to take care of his daughter for the summer. Neither of us is thrilled with the arrangement, but he’s desperate for help, and I need the money for grad school this fall.

All we need to do is keep our distance and remain professional . . . turns out, that’s easier said than done.

Instead of focusing on my future, all I see is the strong jawline, crystal-blue eyes, and rock-hard body right in front of me. We try to resist each other, but we end up crossing every line until I’m in his bed.

I tell myself it’s just this once.

Okay, twice.

All right, every night.

But it’s got to end–he’s fourteen years older than me, with a kid and a stressful job. Have I mentioned my dad is his boss? Then there’s the past I’m trying to forget. Secrets aren’t easy to keep and mine are getting too big to hide.

Walking away is never simple but when I do, I can’t look back.

Even if it means leaving behind the man I was never meant to love.

Oh my what a start to the Whitlock Family Series. Are you ready to be hooked with this single dad, enemies to lovers, age gap, boss's daughter story that will knock your socks off with the sizzle between the pages and... the cutest little girl who will steal your heart.

Asher loves his little girl to pieces and is excited to have her for a few months while her mother is away. He is not looking forward to working with an agency for a nanny, who ends up cancelling at the last minute. But he is even more hesitant to work with his boss's daughter who is studying audiology and happens to be the only other person in town that knows ASL to work with Olivia.

Phoebe has found herself back from school early, with her tail between her legs and her heart broken. Getting involved with the wrong man might just cost her, her career if she can't get transferred to anothe school. Days into being home her dad gives her the mission of being a nanny for Asher's deaf daughter Olivia. She is no where near nanny material but is determined to show everyone she is responsible. She falls fast and hard for Olivia and it is so sweet how protective she is of her.

Will Asher and Phoebe step across that line or will they be able to fight the need/want they are feeling? Could there be more happening behind the doors?

I am ready for more Whitlock adventures as the series continues.
