This book is the fifth installment of the Southern Weddings Series and fits in the series very well. Pulling in friends from other series to blend all in was is a great way to give her readers a little touch of the past favorites. In all a fun emotional read full of wit, chemistry and some healing of hearts.
Sofia and Matthew were a bit explosive but I am not really surprised. Sofia held strong and tried so hard to push him away, standing true with her broken heart that has never healed. But then, maybe she wasn't able to move forward for a reason. Maybe her heart always knew they would have a second chance.
When Matthew got his wake up call to all things that he was missing, namely Sofia. He took charge and didn't back down for one minute. He was certainly a man on a mission. Will he succeed in getting her to give him a second chance to love her the way she deserves?
Oh the fun of bring us back past favorites. Those two big overbearing families always bring lots of laughs and add a little light to a heavy story.
A good read and I can't wait for the next book.
