Never a dull moment in the world of the del Toro family that is for sure. Drawn to Emory like a moth to a flame, Luc knew from a distance and his few encounters with her that he needed her in his life. He also knew he needed to tread lightly as she has been scorned before, just not how or who. Determination and following examples of his parents, Luc brings us some swoon worthy moments as he champions for Emory and proves he wants to be there.

Emory has worked so hard to build herself a new life. To get herself out of the hateful arms of her family and find her own tribe that will love her for her and not ridule her for who she is. Knowing she had the support of her GiGi has always been her push for the better life but she wanted to do it on her own and not take from GiGi in the process. She has finally found her tribe in River and Quinn.

As this newest chapter with her family comes to light, she quickly finds she doesn't have to do thing along anymore. Will she let Luc in and beleive that he is truly there for her? Will her tribe help to guide her from her sadness?

A wonderful book full of emotions, witty banter, suspense and a crazy family full of love and adventure. I am loving the series and can't wait for Alex and Quinn's explosions.
