I am enjoying this round of family that Piper Rayne have given us and seeing the kids all growing up is fun. Great Grandma Dori doing her thing from the fluffly clouds above with the help of her friends.

Lance and Kenzie's story is not one for the faint at heart. There is much to overcome and many hurts to let go of. These two have some pretty steep pride to jump over. Add in the buzz wheel and some not so nice words. An absent groom, the nostalgia of being home after so many years, renewed friendships. What an emotional roller coster ride. But one you need to read and discover on your own.

Things moved a little slowly for my liking but I understand the need to build the story up. It was an enjoyable easy read for a summers day.

I am excited for what is to come next.

Another wonderful installment of the Maxwell Brothers series. This time we get a better look at Kimberly now that she has returned from Paris and is working along side her family building and running hotels. I love that we get to see glimpses of the family and they still share that fun dynamic.

Kimberly and Drake don't start on the right foot from the initial emails as he is brought on as the new general manager for the hotel. This is a step in a different direct for Drake but one he feels he needs to make right now for his family. But with each interaction they are drawn a little more to each other, even if they can't see it to start. Kimberly and Drake both have a strong sense of family and doing anything possible to help out where they can. 

As the pages unfold and the relationship moves from office enemies to possibly more, I was drawn in enjoying each mishap that brought them a little bit closer. When Kimberly's own demons show up, Drake is quick to douse that fire for her and fight for what he wants.
