Oh man this one has some serious feels that will pull you in from the very beginning. This single mom, second chance story has a lot of healing, many unanswered questions, fear but also a love that through the hate, withstood the time apart.
At Eighteen Camden thought he had it all planned out, the girl, the job, the plan for the life together and then one day she just up and left town. The hurts were too much to handle and quickly turned Camden into the easy go lucky, happy to be single and mingle guy. Until the new neighbor moves in and he is staring into the eyes he once loved more than life. But there's a twist, she also has the cutest little boy who latches on to Camden right away.
Maren knew that moving back home mean she was going to see him, going to have to answer some hard questions. But she knew that giving Theo the small town life to grow up in was the best thing for him. Working on mending her relationship with her dad and hoping to make some peace with Camden. She didn't expect him to be her neighbor or the instant connection between him and Theo. Can she keep her heart closed off from him and live next door?
