I sadly admit that I am starting the 2nd generation series without reading the first, but I wasn't lost. I loved all the characters and can't wait to find time to head back to the first series.

Gigi is starting to spread her wings even if she is still doing it amongst family. Starting her full time position at Inked. She is at home there after mentoring with her dad and growing up in the shop. She is clearly a strong sassy woman who knows what she wants. She was not prepared for the surprise waiting for her when she gets to work. Will she be able to keep her secret?

Pike has been searching for something more for the past 10 years. Leaving home at a young age and not looking back to the parents that didn't really care for him. Thankful for his Grandma who showed him some love and taught some valuable lessons. Finally achieving his dream of working at the best tattoo shop in Florida.

He has not stopped thinking about that girl since she slipped out on him 15 months ago. He was not prepared to see here at Inked. Even less prepared for her to pretend she had no idea who he was. Can they keep up the charade? Or will the threats from his past bring them back together? Will Poke survive the Gallo clan?

I was hooked in quickly with the sexy chemistry, the suspense that blind sides everyone. Then we get to the end and I need more. I am not finished with these characters yet. The wait begins.
