What a fantastic addition to Susan's world and a wonderful start to a new series for Ms Earl. A great balance between a budding relationship full of chemistry & sizzle and the mystery & suspense that is full of crazy twist & turns. You will find yourself flipping pages to see if they can find out who is causing all the mayhem.

Claire is a widowed mom of twins, who is still struggling with moving forward in her life. Living for more than her children. Thanks to her sister and brother-in-law she has found a new home and is slowly getting herself out there.

Danny is happily truding along with his busy life as a fireman, animal investigator. Tending to his pack of animals that he has saved because nobody else wants time. Thankful for his neighbors who help when work keeps him from home. Not realizing he needed more until he meets Claire and her cute as shit twins.

Will Danny and his crew be able to find the menace who is causing all the problems before someone else is hurt? Will Claire finally begin to move forward and make a life for her family? Could it be that Danny and Claire have each found what they didn't know they needed?
