This is the second book in the series and Julian is our main character. Always busy with work and loving his life just the way it is. Spending time looking out for the members of his family, he hasn't been looking for relationship. When the fiesty Georgie comes into his bar to take to him about taking his business for the carnival floats away from her, he is bewitched by her.
Georgie is worried that the recent loss of business due to the flooding and others getting word of changes, might just cost her the family business. Sure they did well with the beads and masks but the carnival floats had become their big business. Determined not to let her business suffer, she decides to confront some of the businesses, starting with Julien Leblanc.
This is a fun witty story full of banter and some surprises along the way. Julien is quick to realize that he wants to get to know this spitfire a little better. Georgie has had a kick to her self esteem and it takes her a bit to belive that there is more to Julien helping her get her business back.
Be prepared for the Grandmothers and the big crazy family to get their two cents in as well.
