We have met Tamara in the previous books in this series and this book takes off right where Burn ended. I am not surprised at all the this take everything life has to give me gal, goes out on a limb and sends her family home, with intentions for an adventure. I love Tamara's minimal filter, her sass and wild side. It totally speaks to a girl with overprotective parents/family. She isn't looking for love, relationship and all that, hell not she is just looking for a good time and for someone to pay her a little attention for a while.

Mammoth's attention is quickly drawn to the cute lady sitting at the bar. She is not anything like the other woman that come walking through the doors at the MC. Those ladies are not his thing at all, but this sassy sprite is different. He has no trouble giving Crow hassle after the way he treated her when he arrives and is more than happy to look after her when instructed the higher ups. Coming from the services he was looking for that family feeling when he came to the MC. It has worked for the most part, but he still wants more. Is he in too far, is there hope to get out someday?

I did enjoy the connection between Tamara and Mammoth while reading the story but I didn't really get the same connection to the story and characters as I normally do with Ms Bliss' writing. There were a few spots where I would have liked more from these characters and maybe that more will come in another book at another time. I feel there were some things left unfished, some answers unknown. Fingers crossed we will get more Tamara and Mammoth.

I love how the Gallo's family is inserted in each book. They are such a big part of the series. Looking forward to Lily's story next.
