A fantastic start to this new series. Bringing all the sub characters right off the hop and giving us a look into the camaraderie we can expect. Wonderful main characters that will pull at your heart as they navigate the loss, their past and what the future could look like.
Leighton is a sweetheart and how could she not set up for these kids that she already loved like her own. Hayes is her best friends brother and she crushed on him for a long time. She never expected him to step in and be there for them all. But before anyone knew it he was sneaking over her walls. Hayes falls fast and hard but is willing to wait.
Will Leighton be able to let the hurts of the past go or will she truly let him in. He won't push her though, she needs to make her way their all on her own.
