Release Blitz & Review - THE RULEBREAKER by Piper Rayne

The Rulebreaker by Piper Rayne is now live!

I’m the coach’s daughter. Falling for one of my father's players was never the plan.
Especially not Decker Davis.
Chicago Colts third baseman.
Dependable. Steady. The guy everyone trusts.
And the man who’s spent years keeping his distance—especially from me.

We have history. The kind that ten years and a thousand miles can’t touch.
So, this time, I promised myself I'd be smarter.
No getting attached. No blurred lines. And definitely, no falling.
He broke every last one within the first week.

Because Decker doesn’t just show up for me. He shows up for my daughter.
Because he fits into our lives like he was always meant to be there.
Because he looks at me like I was never something he wanted to lose.

And suddenly, the walls I've spent years building don't feel nearly as solid as they used to.

But if I let him in, I’m not just risking my heart—I’m risking hers too… and I already know what losing him costs.
I won’t let my daughter pay that price.

5 Stars

This series just keeps getting better and better. This second chance romance has all the feels that have lasted for decades for this couple. Once best friends, distanced by time and circumstances, both secretly wishing things could be different.

Penelope is a wonderful mom, so strong and protective of her little girl. Moving to a new city to be closer to her dad as she noticed that Hazel is in need of a father figure in her life. Setting herself up for heartache in the process, knowing the one man she can't have, even if he wanted her will be once again in her orbit.

Decker has spent his life doing what he thought was right for his people, willingly putting himself last on the list, making rules to follow, to not hurt the people he loves. But in doing all that he keeps breaking his own heart. Hardly seems fair. In rebuilding his relationship with his brother, some things are brought to light.

Will Decker step past that imaginary line and go get what he wants for him? Last time he did that it cost him his brother. Can he take that risk again?
