The Dream Series
Isabelle Peterson
Meet Elizabeth Fairchild, 42…a mother of 3, now an empty nester and in Book 1, DITCHING THE DREAM, her struggle to rediscover who she is, what her passions are, what gives her the drive for life. While an affair wasn’t what she was after, after given a ‘hall pass’ from her husband of 22 years, Greg Fairchild, she finds herself involved with two vet different men: Jack Stevens and Kevin Parker. What if ‘the dream’ isn’t all you hoped it would be? Who will be Elizabeth’s dream?
The series continues with Book 2, NOT IN MY WILDEST DREAMS and is Jack Stevens’ story…where he came from (18-25 years old)…his thoughts during the first book (52 years old…and continues the story from the end of the first book. All his life, he’d made choices that he never imagined would be presented. Are the wildest dreams the ones you are meant to follow?
Book 3 centers around Elizabeth’s daughter, Phoebe Fairchild, 19, as she makes her way through a college internship and relocation to New York. When she is assigned to be a Personal Assistant for Hollywood Bad Boy, and Phoebe’s film crush, Chase Smythe, the chemistry is there. Is she CHASING A DREAM or is her dream chasing her?
Book 4 is Greg Fairchild’s story, UNEXPECTED DREAMS, and how he copes with the aftermath of Elizabeth’s “self discovery adventure”. When his “perfect dream" goes up in smoke, what will he do with the unexpected?
We met Kevin Parker in Book 1, but here in Book 5, we get to know more about this Latin hottie with a heart of gold in his addition to the series of FEELS LIKE A DREAM. When his dream becomes a nightmare, can he find the dream again?

I've always been a creative sort of person... I started with my college studies in Advertising Design and Illustration. I'm good at drawing and coming up with clever ideas.
As for story telling - well, that's where I have the most fun! Ditching The Dream is my first novel, but I've been working on writing movies since, what seems like forever. Way back in high school my friend Aimee and I started writing a movie and I was hooked. We didn't know what we were doing, but we loved coming up with the story. I also like to come up with stories about people I don't know. Like the guy that cut me off on the expressway...He had quite a story - at least in my mind! Who knows? Maybe I've come up with a story about you! ;)
Ditching The Dream is a story that came to me while I was helping two author friends of mine. I was helping them with their books and I would make suggestions to amp up their stories along the way. Bev and Amy encouraged me to write my own story and Ditching The Dream was born. Is it auto-biographical? No, not in the least. But it sure has been a fun story to come up with (especially when my hubby gets involved with coming up with ideas).
