This is my first RB Hilliard book and I can't wait to find time to read more. I am typically a slow reader but I devoured this book in just a little over a day. I had to keep reading so I knew what was going to happen next.
Grant is the Rockstar who seems to have the world, sure the band has had some hiccups over the years but they are going strong. That is until it isn't and Grant finds himself in Rehab for a problem he doesn't have. Grant's new mission is to find out who did this to him and why. What he wasn't prepared for when returning with the beautiful counsellor that was waiting for him upon his return. Grant had been the typical Rockstar with the ladies until he laid eyes on Mallory.
Mallory arrived to be a private counselor to the lead of Meltdown. When she arrived she quickly finds that Grant doesn't need her help. Mallory is her own kind of wrecked and has very little self worth thank to her past. She is determined to keep moving forward from that past and help others.
This is so much more than your standard Rockstar romance. The lies and mistrust threaten to bring down this band. Can they save the band? Can they clear Grant's name? Will they find a love that is forever?
This was a good book and I do recommend. There was a little bit more duplication in the dialogue when switching points of view than was necessary. But I enjoyed the dual POV.
