Juliette "Mills" is certain that she has found her path in this difficult journey we call life. For some the journey is harder than others. She is strong and independent thanks to the unconditional love of her adoptive parents. Turning her one escape from the pains of her past into a wonderful strong livelihood and sharing it with other who need to hide their pain to move forward is remarkable. But not without a cost to her emotionally.

Lee is looking for a new start. It is time and what better way than to find a new job in a new town. Uniquely Inked comes with strong recommendations and the hopes for longevity for him. He certainly wasn't looking for the beautiful woman who grabbed his attention and seems to have him changing all his own rules. But the draw to her is unexplainable.

Can this wonderful caring man be the one that she finally lets in? Relationships and trust are a hard limit for Mills. Her walls are built pretty strong around her heart in defence against more pain. Is she ready to finally unbottle her pain and let it go completely, moving on with her journey?

Ms. Davenport digs right in and tackles some pretty difficult subject matter in this book. She draws you in completely and you feel the many emotions of the characters. Life can be hard, but if you fight for your best life, and find the right people to have by your side, it can be so very beautiful and worth living.
