This books is a strong beginning to a new series by KA that will bring us a whole new clan of characters to love. It starts us off with a bang, love and loss, decades of heartache and moving on but never forgetting.  The lies that tore them apart, the secrets that kept them apart and the person that broke them was the one they trusted the most. Two decades, careers and family can certainly change a person but for Genny and Duncan the best parts of them that drew them together in the beginning still have the same draw.

Duncan has worked hard over the years building himself to be the man his father told him he would never be. A successful business man who owns a chain of stores that help and encourage people to spend time outdoors. A loving wonderful father to his children. 

Imogen found her successes behind the cameras just as she always dreamed. The fame and limelight holding her up high. A beautiful family by her side holding her up and keeping her anchored. But she has been feeling like she is missing something. When the loss of a friend (so she thought) changes her world in an instant.
