I absolutely love the family dynamics with this series and the way the authors pull it all in without making it too overpowering. The wit and banter is an added welcome to the wonderful love that these characters find when least expected. Reminds me of my small town home.
Posey Greene has been drawn to Gavin Price since the first time she met him in Sunrise Bay, sure she might have had his posters on her wall as a teen but that was different. As much as their is a pull between these two there has always been something standing in the way, a small incident to something much bigger, How can she be seen schmoozing with the competitions. Her mom is her number one priority. Gavin has learned during his sobriety that he needs to put himself first and that is what he is doing, just needs to get Posey to see things his way. He is a determined fella.
The drama is pretty low in this book, well except for what Posey keeps putting up as road blocks. Great character chemistry, some sweet love and affection, and a big eye opener to remind us that life is too short and we need to spend it with the people that mean the most to us.
