What a fantastic start to this new Redemption Series by K. Bromberg.

A wonderful small town, second chance romance with a single dad, adorable twin girls and the best surprise living in the cottage on the property.

Crew and his girls have had a hell of a time the past year and a half. Between his wife walking away and leaving him to raise his tween girls all alone, add his horrific incident at work as a police officer. They all need a brake from life. His body has healed, but his head is still fighting. A change of scenery is just what they needed, slow the pace of life and just be with each other for the summer, find their new normal.

Tenny has been hiding out since helping to take down her husband who turned out to not be who she thought he was. Her new life is simple and quiet, but can sure be damn lonely. The romance books she spends her time editing only give her so much adventure. When the new temporary landlord moves in, she's hoping to get her cottage back in working order. But she is pleasently surprised by her own alpha hero with twins to oogle.

As friendship and comfort start to set in with Crew and Tenny, the girls get attached pretty quick to the woman who is willing to give them the time of day. Before they know it the easy conversation and comodery have them spending spare time together. Could it be that they will find more than they planned on in Redemption Falls? Healing hearts and minds.

I enjoyed this book with it's easy witty chemistry between the characters. Fun loving and spunky tween girls, skeeming to get dad a new friend. Looking forward to what comes next in the series.
