I love a good Grumpy/Sunshine book and this one didn't dissapoint. A great addition to the series as we come to a close with the Kingsmen. Amazing chemistry and a lot of learing to trust, letting the past go.

Chase has always kept to himself as much as possible with his personal life. He never letting others get to close but for some reason he is comfortable with Twyla. She pretty easily slips past his walls and sneaks under his skin, along with the stray cat she convinces him to help her with.

Twyla is in California taking a break from life after he breakup just before her wedding. Not that she wants Matthew back, she just needed to get away from all the looks and talks of her small town. She was not looking for a new relationship but can't seem to fight her feeling as they grow for a certain football player.

They have some ups and downs along the way. Will it take a grand gesture to get Chase back in the good books?

I am excited for the next series as we follow Miles to this new team.
