Limits. They defined my existence. I once believed I had them all figured out. As a master of deciphering codes and unraveling secrets, boundaries were my lifeline.

At Quattro Security, a venture shared with my brothers, we safeguarded lives with unyielding dedication. Little did I expect that our move to a peaceful small mountain town in Maryland would lead me to discover the missing piece of my soul.

Everything changed when River stormed into my life, blurring every line I’d skillfully crafted. Destiny was a fickle witch, and suddenly I found myself entangled in a powerful web of emotions I never knew existed.

She was a vibrant spark of life which lit a fire deep in my soul. So when she was threatened, there wasn’t a force on Earth that could keep me from shielding her from the haunting and dangerous shadows of her past. I would stop at nothing to keep her by my side and safe forever.

Brace yourself for a thrilling journey filled with unyielding loyalty, unbreakable bonds, a deep family connection, and a love that is limitless.

***While Limitless can be read as a stand-alone novel, the series is a spin-off from the Mountain Grove series, therefore some character crossover will occur.***

This is the first book in the Quattro Series and it is a great series starter, bringing you many characters to the forefront and giving you a glimpse of what be yet to come. As I had read the previous series, the back story that connects the old characters was a great reminder, but also I feel it was enough to let new readers understand the past. Rico and Rivers story brings to us a wonderful couple who wasn't looking for the love that slides in when you least expect it, enought suspense to keep you turning the pages to see if the get the bad guy and a wonderful pre-teen who gets a second chance at life and learns the joys it can bring.

Rico is 100% alpha protective male and the more he falls the worse it gets. That being watching his instant draw to River was fun. He is all heart when it comes to River and her little sister. He gives us a wonderful veiw of the soft hearted man behind the armour of his work.

River has overcome so much to get where she is today. Leaving that horrible life, young and alone all those years ago, but no matter how much better her life got she can't forget those she left behind. When she finds out that her youngest sister has been sold, she needs to find her and keep her safe. Taking on a young girl who is not used to normal life is a very hard task but a little easier for River as she is aware of the pain and suffering her sister endured, first hand.

I loved the banter in this book, the fun connection with Billy Joel and the gentle understanding of a big guy that should seem scary to a young girl who only new pain and abuse that the hands of men. I love the melding of characters from the previous series and the small town feel just keeps carrying through.

I am excited for what is to come in the series and have an idea who might find who in their lives.

C.B. Noy was born and raised in Northern Maryland and decided it was a great place to raise a family. She and her husband live ten minutes from the house she grew up in with the two youngest of their five kids. Rounding out the family are their two dogs and two cats. For nine years, she was a nurse in the ICU and then transitioned to home health nursing five years ago. She is an avid reader of romance and had an idea for a book one weekend. With the help of some seriously awesome and amazing friends, and the support of her family, the Mountain Grove series was born.
