This is the third book in the Fireweed Harbor Series but could easily be read as a stand alone. I love how the Author gives us a connection between other series with her books from time to time. This is a wonderful friends to lovers story that has our characters pushing past their fears to have what they want.
Quinn and Kenan has been friends forever as their families have been close all their lives. As they began to work more closely together after returning from college that friendship continued to grow into best friends. For many years they have both been asked about stronger feelings for each other and never felt or expected anything more until that one day, when you see someone in a different light. How do you continue to fight those feelings because you are afraid if things go bad, but secretly hope all at the same time. Never dreaming that he/she might feel the same.
A sweet and sexy, back and forth, push and pull between these two characters as they feel out the possibilites of a new relationship. But the past has a pretty big hold on Kenan and he isn't sure he can be enough or the person Quinn really needs.
