It's been a minute since I have read a book that drew me in and really made me want to ignore the world around me. This second chance story is heartbreaking, soul searching and the fear to try again it bleeds off the pages.

Darian has found his way to Nashville for a new start, still reeling after the breakup of his band Reverand Sister, but he needs to start somewhere. This will bring him closer to his sister and her family. Music is just as much the heart of Nashville as it is LA so his second love will still be close. Unsure of what is next, but taking slow small steps.

Rye has put all she has into running the Songbird for the past 3 years. Giving these musicians a place to give voice to their songs. Though she has closed that part of herself off so deep it might never surface again.
