This is my first read of the Weston Group and I will need to go back and find time to read the others. This is Walker's story and it is certainly one full of emotions and real chemistry that jumps off the pages. Not all of those emotions are good ones as Walker tried to figure out what to do with himself, he has lost his spark in the kitchen and found a grumpy growl instead.
What was meant to be a one night thing with no attachments and no plans for more, a way to destress and let things go, turned out to be so much more from the very beginning. From the time she walked in his hotel room, he felt a shift in the energy. He could breathe a little better and she somehow managed to quiet the noise in his head. This is just what he needed. But once she left it was too much, he needed that calm she brought.
When life sends them in a tailspin as Alivia finds herself working for them at Charred, neither of them know how to handle it at first. What ramifications will they find? Can they keep their contact to a business only? Could it be that they were meant to find one another and help each other find life and happiness?
